With measurements of only 8.19" W x 9.92" H x 4.84" D, Holmes HFH105-UM Electric Space Heaters have very small footprints, and with weights of less than three pounds, coupled with their integrated carrying handles, they are easily moved from place to place. A cord wrap at the base of the unit prevents tripping over it when transferred.

The compact space heater HFH105-UM is designed to warm small rooms and personal spaces allowing you to turn off your main furnace if you are alone in the house, thus generating substantial savings in heating costs.

The front of the casing consists of a wide grille that allows maximum airflow from the fan inside. Behind the fan are ceramic heating elements with heating coils. These have high and low wattage settings at 1500 and 1000 watts respectively. When activated, the air heated by the coils is drawn by the fan and directed towards the front grille heating the area covered by the fan. During summer, you can turn off the heating elements by turning on the "fan only" setting and use the fan for cooling.

As a safety feature, the HFH150-UM incorporates a sensor that automatically shuts off the heating elements and the fan if it senses overheating.
