Fire Sense 02110 Mojave Sun Infrared Heater

Fire Sense 02110 Mojave Sun wall-mount infrared heater.

People who feel claustrophobic within the walls of their homes and would rather spend their time on their patios and decks can continue staying out even when the weather begins to get cold with a little help from a Fire Sense 02110 Mojave Sun Infrared Heater.

The 02110 Mojave Sun is an infrared heater that can be used both indoors and outdoors. Its source of heat is a 1,500-watt halogen lamp that simulates solar heat but without the harmful ultraviolet (UV) rays. Neither does it emit harmful or toxic residuals making it completely safe to use.

Heat from the machine is felt almost immediately after it is powered up, just like the warmth from the Mojave sun. Full capacity is reached also almost immediately. Unlike other heaters that first warms the surrounding air before you begin to feel its effect, the Mojave Sun directly heats your skin. Also like the sun's rays, it is not affected by blowing winds. It has an effective coverage of up to 9 feet.

Since the heater does not use fans or any other mechanical devices to generate heat, it runs quietly. You will only feel its presence because of the warmth it delivers and the yellow orange glow of the halogen lamp.

The infrared heater plugs into ordinary 110-volt electric outlets. Although it eats up to 1,500 watts of power, it is substantially less expensive to operate than propane- or LPG-fed heaters. Indeed, it is estimated that savings can be up to 90%.

The Fire Sense 02110 Mojave Sun mounts on a wall and it comes with mounting brackets. Its casing is made of stainless steel that is coated with an aluminum protective shield. Some versions come with a powder coating of black while others have a stainless steel finish. Those with black coat can either have an open face or with a ceramic glass front, while the stainless steel kind is available only with an open face.

Dimensions of the heater are 22" x 3½" 7½". Weight is 9 lbs.
