Crane EE-6490 Space Heater

Its ultra-compact size at 7" L x 8.5" H x 5.5" W makes it almost incredible that it could generate enough heat to comfortably warm a small room, but the Crane EE-6490 Space Heater does exactly that. It is a PTC heater that uses a semiconductor ceramic with a very high Positive Temperature Coefficient. When electric power is applied, it is immediately converted into heat and is transferred into the room.

It has two heat settings at 600 and 1,200 watts which can be adjusted by a dial mounted low on the front of the heater. The higher setting has an output of 5,120 BTUs enabling it to quickly warm a room sized 150 square feet.

The space heater has a box-like design but its upper and lower corners are rounded. The casing is made of brushed aluminum which makes the heater lightweight at less than 4 pounds. The front panel is consists of a black grille through which heated air is moved to the room.
