Colored black with a large grille through which you can see the heating coils and a silver colored metal fan, the Comfort Zone CZ792BK Deluxe Milkhouse Heater looks very functional, quite capable of doing what it is supposed to do. Below the grille are two columns of vents, in between of which are a power on indicator light and two dials. You can adjust the different settings of the heater with the upper dial, while the lower is for thermostat setting.
There are three available settings with the Milkhouse Heater –1,500-watt heat level for maximum heating, 1,300-watt for slightly warmer conditions, and a cool fan for use during the warm months. This maximizes the use of your fan as it can be of service the whole year round.
The two heat settings allow you to save on energy costs as you can lower the wattage of the heater when temperatures reach warm levels. An adjustable thermostat also helps by automatically shutting the heater if temperature reaches a high level, and turns it on again if it begins to get too low. This keeps temperatures within a comfortable range.
Air that is heated by the heating coils is forced from the Comfort Zone CZ792BK Deluxe Milkhouse Heater and into the room by a fan. Although it is non-oscillating it can quickly fill a small- to medium-sized room with warmth. As a safety feature, it is equipped with a tip over cut-off switch that turns the heater off if it is accidentally toppled over.
Measuring 10.2 x 7.5 x 16, all in inches, and weighing approximately seven pounds, the heater is easy to move from one room to another. It is also fitted with a carrying handle to further facilitate its transfer.
