Designed for mounting on walls, the Broan Model 9815WH High Capacity Wall Heater is an unobtrusive machine that quietly performs its function of keeping your room comfortably warm. It is colored in plain white, which means it won't clash with the color or décor of your walls.
The casing, which is hidden inside the wall, is made of galvanized steel that is resistant to rust and corrosion, while the grille is crafted from durable polymeric materials. These are extremely durable and heat-resistant, remaining cool enough to touch even while the heater is running. The casing measures approximately 12" W x 10" H x 4" D. The exposed grille, on the other hand is 15" W x 12" H.
Behind the grille is a 1,500-watt heater capable of heating large areas such a lobbies, vestibules, or entrance halls. It can easily and quickly raise temperatures in small and average sized rooms such as a bathroom or bedroom.
Its heating element consists of coiled resistance wire made out of nickel chromium. Heat is generated when electricity is introduced into the wire element. This is transferred into the room with the help of a quiet fan that also directs warm air in a downward flow. This facilitates the circulation of warm air inside the room, leaving no cold spots even in its remotest nooks and crannies.
The motor driving the fan operates quietly so it will not disturb your sleep or study. This is because it has long-life bearings lubricated with oil from an extra large oil reservoir.
Equipped with a built-in thermostat, the Broan heater can be set to maintain a desired temperature level that is sufficiently warm to keep you cozy without burning a hole in your wallet.
The Broan Model 9815WH High Capacity Wall Heater is protected from overheating by a thermal fuse. This shuts the nickel chromium elements the moment excessively high temperature is detected.
